One of the privileges of having a sweet little cry in the wee morning hours as my alarm clock each day is that it gives me the opportunity to witness some amazing sunrises I would otherwise probably never see. I can't say that I love getting up or that I would mind missing one every now and then, BUT it is truly a beautiful sight that starts the beginning of a whole new day, a very refreshing gift God has given us. Here's Ashlyn sitting with me on the patio one early morning when the weather was just perfect and the sun was peeking over the horizon already. Maybe I'll catch a pretty pink and purple one on camera next time I see one, OR just maybe I'll get to sleep through it. wink.
