Ashlyn is CRAWLING!
I have been waiting on this for a long time, so no regrets so far. It has been a blast to watch her move, cruise and explore. Yesterday she was sitting in the Entry Way just babbling and talking to herself as she scooted all over the place as if she was on some big adventure. It was cute.
The funniest thing though was earlier in the week when Remington was sound asleep on the floor and Ashlyn cruised up behind him and touched his fur and he JUMPED and ran as if something had just bit him on the butt! He didn't know she could MOVE! Oh, his world is finally going to get VERY interesting! wink.
Okay are you ready to see some of the action??.... btw, it's not a "perfect" crawl, it's more like a push, scoot, hop thing. Here it is:
Before the magic begins, she seems to need a little hand clapping to motivate herself to take the first "leap". ha.
Pure concentration.
Take notice of the little "frog leg" action on the right. This gives the first "kick".
Next, the other knee does a little "drag forward" action, along with a few huffs and puffs (this apparently is hard work) and .... SHE'S OFF!
Yay! I did it!!Mommy and Ashlyn give a Big Cheer. ;-)
